This recording is trash. Unfortunately it sounds really awful. The setlist is fantastic, which makes the almost unbearable recording all the more disappointing.

nice to have this item in new condition in my collection !!but i think, i would give it away ;-)but it´s sonic youth. noise rock at it´s best !!

Truth is, the recording is not great. The levels are all over the place; it sounds like the soundboard operator was new/high/drunk/all of these. For example, in "The Wonder", Kim's bass becomes noticeably louder than it was just one song prior; the same thing happens again several times throughout the record. It's tough at times, but it's still a worthwhile purchase for those of us who are die hard SY fans. The band were fantastic at this time in their careers (then again, I saw them 8-9 times between 2002-2011 and they never disappointed then, either) and the setlist is great.Don't let the "HQ Virgin Vinyl 180 Gram" selling point mislead you, though. This sounds like most other boots I have in my collection.

Solid assessment! I saw them over 40 times starting around 1993. Had to buy this on principle alone!
