DJ Disciple launches his new imprint with this collaboration with the Rhythm Masters' Steve Mac. In recent times the Rhythm Masters have found much favour with American producers - Roger Sanchez, Armand Van Helden and DJ Sneak just three to utilise their services - whilst Disciple seems to have adopted the UK as his second home. So with both crossing the Atlantic so well the sound is exactly what you'd expect: "Ill Concept" rides the pumpin' filtered disco train to storming effect as a 7-note synth loop is repeated and repeated till it chips away eventually hypnotising those in ear-shot with its incessant charm. On the flip "Tribalism Breakbeat" mixes two dance genres into the melting pot and comes up with another useful DJ tool.
