it sounds like glitches, but this is not because of a damaged cd.its simply becaue of the overleaping digital delay of rileys organ. its in the original tapes. no doubt.

i just got a copy of this and there are intermittent glitches on CD1 starting about halfway through, any else experiencing this?

Judging from my copy it's not a glitch on the CD, it's something to do with Terry Riley's tape delay system. A shame that it's there but it's in the original recording for sure - and doesn't go on for very long.

yep, crappy transfer that someone didn't double check before pressing the CD.

I don't own a copy but it's probably some few tapes clicks and blips that appear through the transfer from analog to digital.I've already experienced that (klaus schulze etc...) so the CD is probably not damaged.

The glitches are about on the 37.Minute. Riley shifting there the Tape-Loop! In fact not the hole CD1 is 'Rainbow in Curved Air'! 0 - 37.27 it's 'Journey from a Death of a Friend' (From 'Happy Ending/OST Les yeux fermé) Only the Rest is 'Rainbow'!
