Notes
Although stated "Recordings originally released in 1968/69 (Skye)", tracks A1-A4 (recorded live at Red Onion Club, Aspen, Colorado, probably February 1968) were never released on LP (they were released on CD: The Cal Tjader Quintet Featuring Armando Perazza - Latin + Jazz = Cal Tjader; about the story of the aborted Skye LP see S. Duncan Reid, "Cal Tjader: The Life and Recordings of the Man Who Revolutionized Latin Jazz", McFarland Publishing, Jefferson, North Carolina and London, 2013, pages 149-151 and 300). Tracks B1-B5 (recorded live at The Lighthouse, Hermosa Beach California, February 20-21, 1969) were originally released on Cal Tjader - Cal Tjader Plugs In. Personnel, as credited on cover, refer to The Lighthouse sessions. Liner notes by Mort Goode refer to the Red Onion Club sessions (statement as on back cover: "Original liner notes - 1969"). Statement as on back cover: "Licensed under especial agreement with Armando Peraza".
