History never repeats ... as they say, but in this case it did ! In november 1965 the Golden Earrings ( later : Golden Earring ) released their second 7 "single in Holland, " Lonely every day "coupled with "Not to find ". After realizing that the B-side contained a grammatical error ( the title was in fact a straight translation of a Dutch expression, but incorect in the English language ) the single was immediately withdrawn. By then they already had written the next single "That day "( the withdrawn A side was track from their debut album anyway ) and the single simply vanished ! It has become the HOLY GRAIL for all Golden Earring and Nederbeat collectors alike - going over 3000 euro easily
