Track A1 is one arguably of the best known spanish language songs internationally; from July 1966 it achieved chart peaks of #2 in South Africa, #2 in Rhodesia, #4 in Holland, #7 in UK, #7 in New Zealand and #9 in USA; in Switzerland in 1997 Wyclef Jean's version reached #19; my Australian chart book only commences in 1970 so i don't know how it fared there in the 60s
