Various - Clublife 2 Mp3

I really don't have anything positive to say about this experience. It looked good, well at least the tracklist looked kind of promising for the first CD and it has Richard Evans, so I thought, what could go wrong? Unfortunately a whole lot. This album is so bad that it makes others like In The Mix Ibiza look like chocolate cake with a nice cherry on top in comparison. Now I have not listened to the first release of Clublife, but given that it is not mixed and after hearing this mess, I think I'll pass.

The first CD as I said earlier looked good, but that is as far as it goes. My complaints start almost immediately by presenting three trance songs at the beginning and then moving onto cheese for the rest of the CD. Songs like El Nino, The Freaks Come Out and Feel It are great hits of '98, but everything feels sloppily put together and out of place. The mixing between the first three songs especially is almost non existent and my god, listen to the transition into Cafe Del Mar - unforgivable. The remainder of the CD is hugely underwhelming except for a couple of songs such as London Town and Treat Infamy, but these can be found on a much better album out there - Best Club Anthems III. The entire CD has no journey, songs out of order and in some cases out of place, and fast mixing cuts and none at all for the rest of the time.

The second CD is garbage, and I literally do not have anything else to say. The mixing is not any better, and besides Fight For Your Right and Anytime (Rhythm Masters Mix), I cannot support this disaster. It is pop nonsense with no particular stand outs, no journey and no redeeming factors. Stare clear, just as the ratings from other users here would also suggest.

Overall, avoid, run Forest run! This album is even worse than that rip off copy/paste Club Anthems 99 - The Wise Buddah Mix CD. No thought process behind this, or effort.
