Nothing wrong with the Allister Whitehead mix, defiantly a great mix that he does out of (get into the music) into ( Make the world Go Round) it's just amazing and is worth buying just for that mix. Superb!!! Some really nice tunes on this CD. His mixing is really good on this tape.

Cells

I thought this was another British piece of brilliance from these two hero's of house music. The Healey mix is as always uplifting and happy which is exactly what house music is supposed to be, very very few djs have the balls to pay pumping house like theses two did back in the day.

Thohelm

1 out of 5 for this is too harsh but 2 out of 5 for this mix is pretty generous. It's a real shame because the odd Fantazia mix has been excellent. Namely Graeme Park's mix for the House Collection Volume 1 and Allister Whitehead's mix for Volume 3. This on the other hand is rather poor. Healy's mix is an atrocious mix of handbag, hardbag, commercial trance and dance. It's dated very badly. Curious mixing and abominable sratching can only make the mix even worse. Whitehead's mix is an improvement but is still a very poor imitation of his Volume 3 mix. This mix cd (1996) coincides with Whitehead's standards as to music dropping dramatically from his 1994-1995 peak. Do not buy this cd.

I suppose it depends on your music style taste, Mix 1 is a different style of mixing to Mix 2 , like you don't really want the 2 mixes to be exactly the same if your buying this compilation. Mix 1 is all about dropping in tunes , a quick transition of floor filling tracks . I could agree to a certain extent , it could have done without the scratching which is best left to the scratch turntablists :)Mix 2 is a typically well construction Dj set of House Classics with excellent beat mixing .
