Notes
For first time in jazz history, an entire four-record set has been created out of previously undiscovered gems, representing a cross-section of the most formidable talents in what we now realize was a golden era of Jazz. The three hours and 20 minutes of music, performed by 22 artists on 47 unissued tracks, is the product of two years of painstaking research by Kiyoshi Koyama at the Polygram tape facility in Edison, New Jersey. Comes with a 33 page booklet in English and Japanese.
