It is an undisputed fact that artists in the San Francisco Bay Area have a major influence in the dance and electronic music industry. The DJs, musicians, vocalists and producers who coexist here often inspire and influence each other, and perpetuate the thriving community we have today. Test Press was created by a handful of industry insiders with a grass roots mentality to further bring the artists together. The events give both artists and producer an opportunity to get their music heard and critiqued by respected
industry leaders. Test Press is truly a unique experience and the premier Bay Area industry mixer for producers, artists, DJ's, press/media, record label reps, record store owners, promoters and Recording Academy members and governors to network and share their ideas. This release represents the finalists of the 2006 & 2007 submissions and
the sound of a vibrant San Francisco electronic music scene.
