There is a great Russian tradition that I suggest you to try it at least once. Relax in sauna for 10-20 minutes and then jump into the well with a freezing water. Believe me, you will not regret. The whole gamut of feelings will erase your personality and give you the second birth. When you try out this shit, you will definitely understand what the fuck I am talking here about. Here is almost the same case. Amazingly hot summer outside when my testicles got boiled each time I walk outside the air-conditioned building, and a bucket of ice cubes that suddenly poured out on me - this is the closest description for the new compilation from L.White Records 'U.S. Bestial Forces' that arrives just in time to blow my brains out of the rotten skull of mine.

For those bastards that buried power electronics as a genre, this is the answer - go fuck yourself, because here it is, screaming and kicking even when there is not much action around. The development of this style was started somewhere around end of eighties and during its life cycle suffered few transformations due the changes in society and world social and economical processes, because one of the conceptual basements for this genre was a reflection of a political or social protest and opposition to the formal art creating. On the three CD compilation listener can find the concentration of acts from the highly acclaimed American scene which contributed a lot of joyful moments to the fans of extreme machinery.

The idea of using noises as musical instrument has its roots inside the creations of the futurist composer Balilla Pratella. In 1911 he wrote in his "Technical Manifest of Futuristic Music": "Music should reveal the true spirit of masses, big industrial complexes, trains, war fleets, machines and airplanes. All this should reflect the machinery area and the conquering sphere of electricity". But the first reminders can be found even earlier inside the diaries of classical composer Ferruccio Busoni around 1907 where he asks himself: "In which direction should music lead its steps? In think that into the direction of abstract sound exploration, freedom of technique and unlimited tone material". And all this was said a century ago!

In order to penetrate the depth of material, I am diving into the three and a half hours of total mechanical erection. Fifty bands contributed to this compilation, fifty different visions, and fifty different insanities. Each of them brings its own piece of hell and spills it with the highest possible intensity. Abstractivism and noise generation is common to most of them, while violence and brutalism is glue that connects them all together into the winning team. Half of those comrades I hear first time in my life that?s why my scope of musical experience received a huge boost during this exploration.

It is really hard to dedicate even few sentences to all the tracks in this epic compilation, because it will blow up this review and will make it unreadable. Relatively unknown bands are mixed together with more recognizable names and make this long journey very entertaining. The sound is always dirty as sewers after mass plague of diarrhea, sometimes more professional, almost studio recording, but sometimes on the level of garage performance. But even those with a poor and lame sound bring at least stable and plane material, while most of them are truly interesting. Dense and gloomy soundscapes, full of rough and sharp agonizing noise like can be heard on Genocide Lolita "Turn", Magia Nuda "Savage", Cunting Daughters "Age of Entitlement", turn places with more uncontrolled and violent structures of Deterge "Frustration (for Her)" or False Flag "Truly Free" or Corephallism "Medford Rape Bridge".

Aggressive and brutal, heavily distorted vocal sessions add the best tabasco taste to this freezing dish. Static discharges and atmospheric disturbances, a chaos of emotions, tornado of unfulfilled dreams, betrayed feelings, destroyed lives, burned relations, broken destinies. The sound brings a reflection of political and national instability, being megaphone and mirror of rotten corruption. Bereft "Might Makes Right" stands in the middle of the journey as a milestone and a statement with a low-fi swaying ratteen portion of brutalism and hate. Creepy Kilt "Satan Chrome" and Streetmeat "Rosalind" fuck my brain hardly with a drilling effect concentration.

While this three and a half hours package arrives with the huge amount of material, most of the bands has their own face and can be recognized easily, making the trip diverse and colorful. Still, it is really hard to embrace this compilation in one shot listening without being erased and hospitalized. Hard-boiled mayhem glorifies victory of machines over mankind.

American soil with its political and cultural systems cultivated a rich scene of power electronics. Without a doubt, it was a great idea to gather the most significant acts into one compilation, and I am happy that there was somebody to bring this idea to life. While the world goes crazy all around, this is definitely THE music to be played as a requiem for human stupidity and corruption. Join today the bestial forces and secure your future in front of apocalypse.
