The first thing that came to mind was...

Why?

As for the "Bassnectar Remix" (WTF is Bassnectar?) of FEELING GOOD sung by Nina Simone, it is as if someone had aural diarrhoea and splattered it all over a perfectly good recording.

Why anyone would contemplate a "remix" of this track is bizarre. Was is done out of spite or some misplaced egotist, thinking they could "improve" on the original?

What ever the motivation, it was an exercise in vandalism and does nothing useful at all. I happened to listen to this whilst at a local record shop and as it was one of my favourite recordings and before realising this was a disc of "remixes".

Well I only lasted until the muddy crap started washing all over it, then I gave up. The rest of the disc wasn't worth listening too.

Oh right, Bassnectar is a DJ.... well stick to that and don't bother doing anything else you idiot.
