This release gathers up the remixes from original european releases and adds a Steve Osborne Remix, aimed for the US market.

On "Four Big Speakers, Cut La Roc expands on the original which was already a sort of rock meets big beat thing and does it really well. While Mike Paradinas/µ-Ziq morphs into his kind of thing with vocoded vocals, frantic rhythms and a boat load of organized chaos. It's just bonkers and it's lovely.

"Crying At Airports" was more of a trip-hop kind of thing and Rawkus producer Shawn J Period re-grooves it for his hip-hop remix. Mos Def spits on most of the track and while it's not his best material, it's a decent enough effort. Friend takes the atmospheric bits from the original and double up the tempo for a drum & bass version. Steve Osborne's effort which is exclusive on this is a decent enough breaks version. Nothing to hunt this down for however.
