Yosh - Sophia E.P. Mp3

This is a very interesting EP for the discerning synth and breakbeat head. A1 is the main draw here, I can only describe it as melancholic breakbeat driven synthwave track , sounding like someone's heart was broken, or yearning for a lost love. Could even be an ode to the end of 'The Perfect Rave' (we've all been there, never wanting the party to end). That said A2 is the complete opposite - a banging 4/4 whomper telling us to stop being so sentimental and get back on the floor and have a good time. The B's are a bit superfluous...B1 is a bit of a re-hash of the main A1, a little more New Beaty and sounding dated by 1992. And B2 is just a downbeat instrumental of the main themes.
