1st pressing indicated by the fact that the Mercury logos on the centre labels lack an ® symbol and without the text “Manufactured and Distributed by Mercury Records Productions, Inc.” as per release David Bowie - Man Of Words/Man Of Music.

Track timing for A2 (Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed) is incorrect. Timing shows original time for this track combined with the following 'hidden' track (Don't Sit Down) as it appears on the master tape. Don't Sit Down was removed prior to release seemingly after labels were prepared. Actual time is approx 6:09. Of the first issues on Philips and Mercury, Don't Sit Down was removed from the Mercury North American releases only, while all Philips issues contain the track.

Note: Only A1 was produced by Gus Dudgeon. The labels credit Dudgeon with production of B3 (Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud) also, but this version was produced by Tony Visconti as per the remainder of the album. Dudgeon produced the original single version of this track, but the album version was a re-recording with notably more instrumentation.
