Togar
If HATEBREED decided to play and OBITUARY album, this is what the bastard child of that union could sound like. DYINGRACE are total deathcore, in this sense. The riffings could have been used from a doom/Death album, as the pace is pretty much the same as the one of SECOND TO NONE (the japanese band, not the NJ band) but where SECOND TO NONE took the doom influence, DYINGRACE are straight forward Death. The album is a cruel beast that basically wants you to bang your head relentssly to oblivion while your friends try to crowdkill other fags who like that kind of "dancing". At times, things get groovy in the way the mighty DENIED (NY) could have sounded if they dropped hardcore parts for two step parts. Nothing bad in my book, but nothing great either. The album howhever is essential to get some of the evolution the genre has undertook in the '90s. Hit or miss, you decide.
