Promo pressing featuring a mono mix of the album. This mono mix was created exclusively for play on AM radio stations and was never available to the general public. It remains unreleased in digital form.
Some of the vocals on track A1 are censored for airplay - there are two "beeps" covering up "goddamn" in the first verse and three "beeps" covering up "goddamn it" in the third verse.
The labels feature black text on a plain, white background, a style referred to colloquially as a "white label promo."
The jacket is a regular stock stereo jacket, but with a yellow sticker affixed to the front denoting this is a promo copy featuring a mono mix.
The mono mix was created using the CSG Process.
The first catalog number appears only on the labels and is exclusive to this mono version. The second catalog number appears on the jacket. It is the same number appearing on the stereo edition.
Recorded live at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland in June 1969
