On his short ROBOT EP, Robert Lippok lets the warm tones dominate "Tracking" for its brief run time before the longer "Unexpected Behavior No. 7" oozes its way into your ears. The interludes don't seem to link the tracks as much as they seem to be unfinished ideas themselves (like the twinkling "Silent Movement"), but I think they could have stood on their own if developed further, As it is, the calm whirring of "After Work" or the deeper, sometimes hesitant, tones of "Pick and Place" manage to keep the listener's interest, while "Sweet Servo" goes more abstract. It's a tantalizing taste of his work, but only a taste.
